To update or not... Perpetual license a factor

I have the option to update Acronis 2019 to either Acronis 2020 or 2021 (I have a legit copy of both), if I did update 2021 would be the end of the road for the Acronis product, not willing to buy into a subscription based license for a backup utility. Looking for a bit of insights from those of you a that have been working with this longer that I.
Is there any real benefit to updating from Acronis 2019 to 2020 or 2021??
Thanks for your time folks.

It really depends on what you want to achieve; if ATI 2019 is meeting your needs, stay with it.
If you want cloud backup and integrated "cyber protection" the Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office as the latest version of ATI is now called may be for you. You may still be able to find a perpetual licence for ATI 2021 or 2020 which has some refinement to backup process and some enhanced security functionality. If you alreday have a security solution that you are happy with, then I would not go to Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (which is subscription only).
